Activity 1. Word Clouds

   Creating word clouds is an exciting fun activity for pupils. While creating word clouds pupils practice vocabulary and spelling.

Use already-made word clouds for learning vocabulary (cross out all the words you know and find out the meaning of the words you don’t know), speaking or writing (make up a story or retell the text using as many words from the word cloud as possible).

   Instructions

    1.     Go to Tagxedo-Creator website.

    2.     Load the text or vocabulary on the topic. Submit.

    3.     Choose a theme, font, orientation, shape of your word cloud.

    4.     Save your image in jpg or png format.
