To St Valentine's Day

Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians
Love is patient and kind;
it is not jealous or conceited or proud;
Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;
Love does not keep a record of wrongs;
Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.
Love never gives up;
and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.
Love is eternal.
Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love,
and the greatest of these is love.

Любов довго терпить,
Любов милосердствує, не заздрить,
Любов не величається, не надимається,
не поводиться нечемно, не шукає лише свого,
не рветься до гніву, не думає лихого,
не радіє з неправди, але тішиться правдою,
усе зносить, вірить в усе, сподівається на все, усе терпить!
Ніколи любов не перестає!
А тепер залишається віра, надія, любов - оці три.
А найбільша між ними любов!
